If you enter print without any parameters, BookManager READ prints the currently displayed topic.

Topics you print are placed in a data set. Additional topics you print from the current book are added to the data set in the order in which you specify them.

If you print topics that contain artwork, and are using either the GML Starter Set or BookMaster GML output type, the artwork is placed in another data set. If you use a printer that supports graphics, the artwork is printed along with the topic text.

Parameters

topic1
Specifies the topic identifier of the first topic to be printed. If you omit topic1, printing starts with the current topic.

TO topic2
Specifies the topic identifier of the last topic to be printed. Printing begins at either the current topic or topic1 and continues through all subsequent topics until topic2 has been printed. The topic that you specify for topic2 must occur later in the book than topic1.

FOR number
Specifies the number of topics to be printed. Printing begins at topic1 and continues until the total number of topics printed reaches the number that you specify.

WITH NOTES
Prints the topic and any notes associated with it. Topic notes are printed after the topic title, and line notes are printed before the associated line of text.

IF NOTES
Prints the topic only if there are associated notes. Topic notes are printed after the topic title, and line notes are printed before the associated line of text.

ONLY NOTES
Prints only the topic and line notes in the topic.
