With appropriate configuration policies and options defined, press the Next button on the Autoconfiguration - Options page (Figure 1). The wizard now shows the Discovered Controller List (Figure 1). It acts as a focal point for I/O Autoconfiguration: here you select an operation mode and controllers to be configured. And you will return to this page, either to select more controllers for configuration or to exit the wizard when you are done.
Now choose the Autoconfiguration operation mode:
Autoconfiguration is done for one selected controller at a time. HCM presents all proposed definitions and you can change them. You can accept or reject all definitions made for the controller on the Summary page (Figure 1).
Autoconfiguration makes definitions for all selected controllers quietly. The definitions are presented on the Summary page, but cannot be rejected.
Select one or more controllers from the list and press the Include… button to mark them for autoconfiguration. The column Include shows a check mark for all selected controllers. The Next button is enabled when at least one controller is marked. Pressing this button starts autoconfiguration for each marked controller in turn.
The wizard now proceeds depending on the chosen operation mode.
