Accessing IMS Introduction to IMS |

In a broad sense, accessing IMS means telling IMS to perform work for you.
These application programs can run in many different environments. They tell IMS what to do by calling a number of standard IMS functions through standard APIs: DL/I and JDBC4. In This Section: 4.
The IMS implementation of JDBC supports a
selected subset of the full facilities of the JDBC 2.1 API.
