Sift-down effect Networking on z/OS |
|
|
The sift-down effect enables you to code an operand on a higher-level node so that you do not need to recode it on each lower-level node for which you want the same value. As a result, the sift-down effect greatly simplifies the coding process. z/OS Communications Server: SNA Resource Definition Reference identifies and describes the definition statements and operands to which sifting applies. |
