Continuing major command output

You can use a number of different continuation characters and commands to control the output display for major commands.

  1. Enter a less-than sign (<) in column 1 in front of a major command to generate all output at once when you execute it. For example:

     <DISK VMXA04 VMXA05 VMSP50 VMHP02 OMONVM DOSTST DP215R DOSRES +
              CPM023 DBRCPROD DLSPROD IRLMPROD MPP01 MPP02

  2. After you issue a major command for the first time, you can put a number in column 1 to specify how many lines to skip before the next display.
  3. You can repeat a major command to display only the next line of output.
