Overview of job analysis data display

Job analysis data can be displayed in several formats.

Resource Impact Profile

A high level display of job degradation that lends itself to quick interpretation. It reveals the impact system resources are having on an individual job. Use the IPRO command with either the MONJ, PLTA, or PLTJ command to display a resource impact profile. To see a typical resource impact profile, refer to Figure 1.

Plot

A more detailed display that combines numeric data with graphics. Use either the PLTA, PLTJ, or MONJ command to display a plot.

Percentage

A listing of the top wait reasons by percentage without any graphic display of that data. Use either the PCTA or PCTJ command to list wait reasons by percentage.

Count

A listing of actual number counts from which the other three displays are based. Use the CNTA or CNTJ command to list a count of wait reasons.
