Configuring PAM for Linux clients

The IBM® MFA pluggable authentication modules (PAM) authentication mechanism allows users to log in to the Linux® client system and is not connected to or used with z/VM® client authentication. You install the IBM MFA PAM modules on the Linux client systems on which you want to use IBM MFA PAM authentication.
