Creating HTTP Connection for the Connection record

To set up Kafka Instances and Connections, you must create HTTP Connection for the Connection record.

Procedure

  1. Click Integration hub > Connection & Credential Aliases.
    Click Integration hub and Connection & Credential Aliases
  2. Click Kafka Connection Alias.
    Click Kafka Connection Alias
  3. On the Connection & Credential Alias page, under the Connections tab, select New.
    Select New under the Connections tab
  4. Specify value for the following fields.
    Specify values for the fields
    Name
    Any name for this HTTPs Connection.
    Connection URL
    The Connection URL to the Kafka server, including the host and port. The default port used by the Kafka server is 8085, which can be determined on the system where the Kafka server is running.

    Use MID Server
    If you use MID Server, select the Use MID Server checkbox. After you select the checkbox, you can see the Advanced MID Server Configuration, and select the MID Server.
