Setting up a Windows machine as an FTP server
To set up a Windows machine as an FTP server, try the following solutions and workarounds.
When you use ZD&T Enterprise Edition, and want to set up a Windows machine as the FTP server, complete the following setting:
- Set up at least one user to connect to the FTP server.
- Navigate to the page.
- Specify the base directory based on the shared folder of the specified user. For example, if the shared folder of the specified user is c:\test, then when you specify /sub-test as the base directory, the base directory on the FTP server will be c:\test\sub-test.
- Set the Read, Write, and Create-dir permissions you want the user to have to the base directory.
