  • Tracking CICS® transactions invoked via a CICS Transaction Gateway
    Customers who adopt the AppDynamics APM solution with Z APM Connect can track performance and availability of CICS Transactions that are invoked via a CICS Transaction Gateway.

  • Component name change

    The component name of AppDynamics Transaction Tracking Gateway (AppDynamics TTG) is changed to Z APM Connect Distributed Gateway (Z APM Connect DG).

  • Security enhancements

    Secure communications between z/OS components and Z APM Connect Distributed Gateway (previously named as AppDynamics Transaction Tracking Gateway) are enhanced to better protect your sensitive data. See Securing communications.

  • Enhancements to Z APM Connect Distributed Gateway

    The zapmctl.sh script is provided to help you better manage this application. Besides the main node, one or more worker nodes can be added to the cluster to improve the availability and performance of this application.
