INGRTAPE
Purpose
INGRTAPE maintains tape status details under SDF. When SA z/OS detects an outstanding tape mount request then it feeds the related message into SDF. If the request is not satisfied before the warning interval has expired, the status will change to warning.
If the tape mount request is still not satisfied after the alert delay, the status will change to alert.
The tape mount request is deleted from SDF dynamically when the related tape is mounted or the requesting job is canceled.
The routine INGRTAPE automation routine is used to visualize the pending tape mount requests within SDF. Its behavior is based on the definitions in the 'Tape Attendance' policy entry. For information about activating and customizing Tape attendance, refer to IBM Z® System Automation Defining Automation Policy.
