GETIPSW
Purpose
The GETIPSW command returns the content of the Program Status Word of a logical partition for each active central processor.
Requirements
The requirements for the GETIPSW command to complete successfully are:
- Processor Operations must be active.
- The addressed target system or target.lpar must have been initialized using the ISQXIII command.
Parameters
For a definition of target_system_ProcOps_name and target_hardware_name.LPAR_name, see ISQCCMD.
Defaults
None.
Usage
You can use GETIPSW to determine Disabled Wait State Condition details. If the command is entered when all CPs are operational and the status of the image (LPAR) is OPERATING, then the returned PSW information is undetermined.
Additional Programming Information
On command completion, the immediate HW response report messages are also available in a Pipe KEEP with the name 'ISQ.SNMP'. When using this KEEP as your first Pipe stage, you can directly access this HW data.
Restrictions and Limitations
The GETIPSW common command is only supported for SNMP connections. When issuing this request for another ProcOps connection type, it is rejected.
Return Codes
The ISQCCMD command generates the return codes for common command processing.
