Node object
A node object is a z/OS system or a node where the resource to be automated runs on.
The node object has the following properties:
- Name
- The name of the system or node.
- Class
- The resource type of the system or mode.
- Description
- The description as specified as the short description in the DESCRIPTION policy item of the automation policy.
- Observed state
- Unavailable if the observed state of this resource as detected by SA z/OS is SYSGONE; otherwise available.
- Is included/excluded in automation
- Excluded if there is a stop request to the resource system/SYG/system; otherwise included.
- Include/Exclude node
- The automation adapter converts these functions to the SA z/OS specific command. For details of these requests see Requests issued by the SMU and the end-to-end automation manager.
