This panel displays the following information:

Resources for THIS entry
Shows the resources generated for the current Application Group and for linked Applications.
Application Group resources are generated when the Application Group is linked to a System,
  • Either indirectly when a Sysplex-APG is created (if the Application Group is of type SYSPLEX, it's linked to a System after the associated Sysplex-APG is linked to the System);
  • Or directly by linking an Application Group to a System (if the Application Group is of type SYSTEM, it's linked to a System either in the Application Group's WHERE USED policy or in the System's APPLICATION GROUPS policy).
Resources for APPLICATIONS (generated by links to this entry)
Shows all resources generated for current Application.

Application Resources are generated when a link between an Application and a System occurs. Applications never can be linked directly to Systems.

This link happens indirectly by linking an Application to an Application Group (either in Application's WHERE USED policy or in an Application Group's APPLICATIONS policy).
