Inform List

You have to include the appropriate communication method for the notification target in the Inform List field of the appropriate policy item to explicitly enable alerting for specific resources or classes of resources, as shown in Table 1.

^* Leaving the Inform List field blank allows the policy object to inherit the value specified in the system defaults or sysplex defaults definition.

You must also specify the appropriate communication method for the desired notification target as shown in Table 2.

You can specify a blank-separated list of values to enable alerting for several notification targets.
