REMOTE RESOURCE Policy Item
Figure 1 shows the Remote Resource panel that you can use to define the 'real' name of the resource on a remote domain.

- Inform List
- It specifies whether to show the resource reference on the E2E domain view. If yes, specify E2E. If no, leave it blank.
- Owner
- It specifies the information of the operator whom to contact in case of an error.
- Info Link
- It can be used to specify a location (for example, a URL) where additional information about the resource reference can be found.
- Name
- It is the name of the remote resource.
For SA z/OS remote resources, this is typically the subsystem name of an application (APL), the automation name of an application group (APG), the name of a monitor resource (MTR), or the name of a resource reference (REF).
For non SA z/OS remote resources, this is the value of the Resource name as specified in the Universal Automation Adapter policy.
- Type
- It is the type of the remote resource.
For SA z/OS remote resources, you can specify APL, APG, MTR, or REF.
For non SA z/OS remote resources, specify IBM.RemoteApplication.
- System/Node
- It is the name of the system or node where the remote resource is running.
For SA z/OS remote resources, specify the name of the system where the remote resource is running. Leave this field blank if the remote resource is a sysplex-wide group.
For non SA z/OS remote resources, this is the value of the node as specified in the Universal Automation Adapter policy.
