You can check error codes by calling CDEMATCH. It compares error codes in a message to a set of automation-unique error codes to determine the action to take.

Using External Code for Timers, Logic, and Other Functions
Your automation procedures may require code to set timers, to perform logic unique to your enterprise or to the automation procedure itself, and to perform other functions.
