Status mapping steps

Procedure

The mapping is carried out in three steps:

  1. The SA z/OS statuses observed state, desired state and automation state are mapped to the observed state, desired state and operational state of the end-to-end automation resource data model.
    See Step 1
    Note: There is a direct one-to-one mapping of the SA z/OS desired state to the end-to-end automation desired state.
  2. If, as a result of the first step, the operational status is OK, the second step is used to degrade the operational state, if the SA z/OS compound state reports a problem. See Step 2.
  3. The compound state of the end-to-end resource data model is derived from the operational state. See Step 3.
