appnNN

The class appnNN defines the fields that apply to objects of APPN network nodes.

An APPN network node is an SNA type 2.1 node that:
  • Supports its end users.
  • Provides the following services to end nodes:
    • Directory
    • Management
    • Route selection
  • Performs intermediate routing of data on sessions that traverse it.
Like all type 2.1 nodes, an appnNN can also attach to a subarea network as a peripheral node.

Using Object Class Fields
