To operate the Z Data Analytics Platform, you must access the dashboards web UI and access the Problem Insights GUI.

Accessing the Z Data Analytics Platform web UI
After all Z Data Analytics Platform services have been successfully started, you can access the dashboards and search web UI in a web browser.
Customizing the number of records displayed in the Discover view
By default, the Discover view of the Z Data Analytics Platform displays only the most recent 500 records from the result set matching a given query. These 500 records are also used to calculate the top five field values that can be used as search filters in the Available fields pane of the Discover view. To see more records from the result set, complete the following steps to customize the web UI.
Creating a custom dashboard to show z/OS syslog messages on the Z Data Analytics Platform
IBM Z® Operational Log and Data Analytics includes a collection of predefined dashboards for use to examine your z/OS® based subsystems like CICS®, Db2®, and MQ to name a few. These dashboards can be used out of the box or can be used as building blocks to build custom dashboards to meet your specific needs. In addition, new visualizations and dashboards can be created for the vast amount of data provided by the Z Common Data Provider that might not be covered in IBM Z Operational Log and Data Analytics.

The Z Data Analytics Platform extends it core functionality with several added features and capabilities. You can find these features under Extended features in the navigation pane.
