Integration with z/OS features

JCL Expert can substitute IZWS variables and check for the existence of Db2 plans and subsystems referenced in JCL.

IZWS and Db2 checking must be configured beforehand, as described in Configuring IZWS support and Configuring Db2 support. IZWS variable substitution is completed before regular JCL analysis. Db2 checking is completed during regular JCL analysis.

This is a diagram displaying the JCL analysis process with z/OS features. If IZWS validation is enabled, validation will occur before regular JCL analysis. If Db2 checking is enabled, Db2 checking will occur currently with regular JCL analysis.
