Working with IMS databases in IBM Z Database Assistant

IBM® Z Database Assistant provides a unified, intelligent workspace for Db2® and Db2 for z/OS® database administrators (DBAs).

For IMS, you can:
  • View the status of an IMSplex, the IMS systems in that IMSplex, databases, and database components
  • Write, edit, format, and check the validity of SQL statements
  • Run DISPLAY and QUERY type 1 or type 2 commands
  • Use an agent to get more information about IMS components, concepts, and tasks
