Canceling an SQL optimization exploration process
You can cancel the SQL optimization exploration process should the need arise.
Before you begin
About this task
If your SQL optimization exploration process gets stuck, you might need to manually cancel the process. Explorations might get stuck while in progress or in the Exploration requested status if too many explorations are in the queue.
Procedure
To cancel an SQL optimization exploration process:
-
Open the SQL tuning tab of the connection for which you want to cancel
an exploration. By default, the Top SQL statement is displayed, which shows the SQL statements that are using the most CPU resource.
- Location the statement for which you want to cancel the exploration.
- Click Cancel in the Actions column.
