System requirements

Before you install IBM Z® Batch Resiliency, be sure that the following system requirements are met.

• z/OS® 2.3 and later
• Access to the system catalog
• A vendor-supported version of one of the following tape management systems: CA-1®, CA Dynam/TLMS, Control-M/Tape , RMM, or ASG-Zara™
• A vendor-supported version of one of the following disk management systems: ABARS, DFSMSdss, FDR, CA Disk
• The IZBR Primary Option Menu requires a TSO session with Region Size set to 2096128
• The IBM Z Batch Resiliency SMF Extractor task must run in the highest Dispatch Priority available in your system environment
