Deleting a Task

Tasks can be deleted in IBM webMethods Designer; deleted tasks cannot be recovered.

Note: If the task you want to delete is the only task in the project, the easiest method is to delete the entire project from the Solutions or Navigator view. However, if you wish to retain the project, use the following procedure.

To delete a task

Procedure

  1. Locate the task you want to delete with in the Solutions view.
  2. Right-click the task and click Delete.
  3. You may also want to delete the task in My webMethods if the task has been published to IBM My webMethods Server. For more information, see the Task Engine documentation.
