About this task
Task Engine uses a separate data source to archive task instance data.
You configure Task Engine to connect to that data source on the Task Archiving
Configuration page in My webMethods, and the data source details on the
Data Source page in My webMethods. You can
configure more than one data source for archiving and searching tasks.
For more information about how to work with data sources, see
Administering My webMethods Server.
Note: You must configure the data source by creating a TaskArchival
component with the Database Component Configurator before you connect Task
Engine to the data source.
