Use this procedure to drag and drop an existing task into a process to create a task step.
To add an existing task to a process by dragging and dropping
Procedure
- In the Solutions view, open the process you want to work with by double clicking it.
- In the Solutions view, click the task you want to add and drag it to the process design canvas. After the task is added to the design canvas as a task step, note that you can open the task view in the task editor by double clicking the task step or by right-clicking the task step and then clicking Open in Task Editor.
- Add any required documents or Java types to the process and connect them to the newly added task step.
- Save the changes.
