You can delete a WebSphere® Application Server profile from the command line using
the manageprofiles command.
Procedure
- Open a command prompt and run one of the following commands,
depending on your operating system; the command file is located in
the install_root/bin directory:
- manageprofiles.sh -delete
-profileName profile_name
- manageprofiles.bat -delete -profileName profile_name
where
profile_name is the name of the
profile that you want to delete.
- Confirm that the profile deletion has completed by checking
the following log file:
- install_root/logs/manageprofiles/profile_name_delete.log
- install_root\logs\manageprofiles\profile_name_delete.log
- You must drop the database manually. The
SQL to drop the database is available in the dbscripts directory for
supported platforms.
