Getting started for status viewers

A status viewer can open the WebSphere Automation user interface but cannot add servers to track their vulnerabilities or set up email notifications. Status viewers can see the current vulnerability assessment for the servers that are managed.

About this task

You must have the URL for the WebSphere Automation user interface and a user profile to log in, and permissions to access the pages that you want to view. See your cluster administrator if you need this information.

Procedure

  1. Log in to WebSphere Automation.
    For more information, see Accessing the WebSphere Automation UI.
    On the login page, select the authentication type that is indicated by your cluster administrator, and then enter your username and password.
  2. View the security status of your WebSphere inventory.
  3. View server health investigations for your WebSphere inventory.
