External Target stage: NLS Map section (DataStage®)

Use this section to override the default character set map set for the project or the job. You can specify that the map be supplied as a job parameter if required. You can also set Allow per-column mapping to True to allow character set maps to be specified for individual columns within the data processed by the External Target stage. Set column SQL Type to CHAR or VARCHAR and set the type of column Extended to UNICODE. An extra property, NLS Map, appears in the Columns grid in the Columns section, but note that you can use only ustring data types to set an NLS map value.
