Sort stage: fast path (DataStage®)

This section specifies the minimum steps to take to get a Sort stage functioning.

About this task

To use a Sort stage:

Double-click the stage to open the stage editor. On the Stage tab, go to the properties section. Under the Sorting Keys category:
- Specify the key that you are sorting on. Repeat the property to specify a composite key.
On the Output tab, select Edit in the Columns section. In the Maps from column input column section, specify how the output columns are derived.
