Installing and configuring License Service Reporter
License Service Reporter is an aggregator that adds and analyzes the license usage data from multiple clusters, and retrieves the highest license usage of IBM Cloud Paks and IBM® stand-alone containerized software. Deploy one central License Service Reporter on a selected cluster. You can deploy License Service Reporter with the OpenShift console or the CLI.
License Service Reporter is an independent service and can be installed in any namespace.
Supported platforms
License Service Reporter is supported only on Linux x86_64 on OpenShift Container Platform.
Hardware requirements
If you plan to install the IBM License Service Reporter (IBMLicenseServiceReporter
), there are additional minimum hardware requirements.

Storage options for License Service Reporter
IBM License Service Reporter need storage that supports RWO access mode. The Rook Ceph Block Storage and IBM Cloud Block Storage at Gold level are the recommended and supported storage options for License Service Reporter. It is possible that the License Service Reporter can also support other storage options. For more information, see Storage options.
