Creating jobs in DataStage

You can create a job directly in DataStage.

To create a DataStage job directly in DataStage, you must create the job from within a DataStage flow.

1. Open a DataStage flow.
2. Optional: Click the Settings icon in the toolbar to open the Settings page and specify settings for the job.
3. Click Compile to compile the DataStage flow.
4. Click Run to run the DataStage flow. A job is created and run automatically. Once the job run has been created, it is listed in Job runs tab. To see job details, click on the job run. For a complete list of jobs in your project, go to the Assets tab.
