Complex Flat File as a target in DataStage

Use the Complex Flat File connector to write data to a complex flat file.

1. Drag the CFF connector to the DataStage® canvas and double-click the connector.
2. On the Stage tab, specify information about the connector data:
   1. On the File Options tab, provide details about the file to write to.
   2. On the Record Options tab, describe the format of the data in the file.
   3. Optional: On the NLS map tab, specify a map.
   4. Optional: On the Advanced tab, specify Execution mode, Combinability mode, and Preserve Partitioning.
3. Optional: On the Input tab, specify how to write data to the target file:
   1. On the Columns tab, view the data to write.
   2. On the Advanced tab, change the buffering settings.
4. Click Save and return to save your changes.
