REST step pages in (DataStage®)

You configure settings for the connection, security, request, and response body of the REST step to start a REST web service.

General page of the REST step in (DataStage)
On the General page of the REST step, you can set up a connection to the REST web service. You can also create a reusable connection that can be used to set up the connections for multiple REST steps.
Security page of the REST step in (DataStage)
On the Security page of the REST step, you can specify the security details of the REST web service.
Request page of the REST step in (DataStage)
On the Request page of the REST step, you can specify the request body of the REST step as a text, a binary data, or as a file.
Response page of the REST step in (DataStage)
On the Response page of the REST step, you can specify the response body as a text, a binary data, a file, or a large object (LOB).
Mappings page of the REST step in (DataStage)
The Mappings page contains the parameters or elements in the connection and the request that need to be mapped to fixed values or input data items.
