General tab (DataStage)

Define your build stage's general features.

  • Show in DataStage flow palette is selected by default. Deselect Show in DataStage flow palette if you do not want the stage to be visible in the DataStage palette.
  • Operator is the name of the operator that your code defines and that the stage executes. By default this takes the name of the stage type.
  • Execution mode. Choose the execution mode to set as default. You can override this mode for individual instances of the stage as required, unless you select Parallel only or Sequential only.
  • Description. Optionally enter a description of the stage.
