Configuring master data in IBM Master Data Management
Data engineers can use the IBM Master Data Management service's configuration capabilities to load and publish data, customize the data types, configure the matching capabilities of the system, and run matching to create master data entities.
- Required permissions
- To configure a master data instance, you must be a member of the DataEngineer user group for the IBM Master Data Management service.
To access the IBM Master Data Management configuration tools, choose Configuration overview from the quick links panel on the home page or use the Master data navigation menu to open the configuration page that you need. If you do not have permission to configure an instance, you will not see any configuration options in your navigation menu or home page.
