IBM FileNet P8 P8 connection
To access your data in IBM FileNet P8, create a connection asset for it.
IBM FileNet P8 P8 is an enterprise platform that enables you to capture, store, manage, secure, and process information to help you to streamline and automate business processes, access and manage all forms of content, and automate records management.
Prerequisite
Before you can connect to IBM FileNet P8 connection, you will need to enable the AppConnect connection. This will enable the connection to appear in the list of available connectors for you to use.
Enabling FileNet P8 P8 on Cloud
This connection is only available through the Toronto data center and is only available for a managed cloud service provider (MCSP).
If you have created a platform assets catalog, the FileNet P8 P8 connector should automatically appear in the list of available connectors.

Create a connection to IBM FileNet P8
To create the connection asset, you need these connection details:

FileNet GraphQL URL: The Content Services GraphQL server URL of your IBM FileNet P8 Content Manager

Repository Identifier: Identifier where your files are stored

Authentication method:

- Username and password: The username and password for the Content Services GraphQL account

Supported file types
The FileNet P8 connection supports structured and unstructured file formats.
The connection supports the following structured file types: Avro, CSV, Delimited text, Excel, JSON, ORC, Parquet, SAS, SAV, SHP, and XML.
The connection supports modes for reading and writing binary data. These modes can be used to read and write the unstructured data formats such as: DOC, DOCX, MD, PDF, PPT, PPTX, and TXT.
Restriction
You can use this connection only for reading data. You cannot write data or export data with this connection.
