Customizing roles

Following this scenario you can easily create your own customized roles in few steps.

Create a customized role for the Dynamic Workload Console

  1. from the top panel click Administration > Security > Manage Roles
  2. Click Add new, insert name, description and give the access to the pages desidered.
  3. Click Ok
    From the same tab you can edit, delete or duplicate the new role.

Add the new role to an existing entity

  1. From the Manage Roles panel, select the entity corresponding to the new role created by clicking on the number under the column Entity.
  2. click Add and type the name of the entity and specify whether it is a user or a group
    Ensure you already have set the entity in the security file as described in Configuring authentication the default security file is authentication_config.xml.
