Scheduler start options

For Tivoli® Business Systems Manager to monitor IBM Z Workload Scheduler, you must configure IBM Z Workload Scheduler start options. Specify the EXTMON parameter on the OPCOPTS statement. This statement defines the runtime options to IBM Z Workload Scheduler and is used by the tracker, controller, or the standby controller.

At initialization time, if the EXTMON start option is set to YES, IBM Z Workload Scheduler loads the Tivoli Business Systems Manager module AOPEDI. The module must be present in a library visible to the controller and tracker. If the load fails, the value of the EXTMON start option is automatically set to NO, and the message EQQZ232 appears in IBM Z Workload Scheduler message log.
