Updating audit trace settings for the ML for IBM z/OS services

ML for IBM z/OSĀ® provides the option to configure the audit trace settings for the model data, model version, and model development resources.

About this task

You can use the MLz administration dashboard to change the audit trace settings. Alternatively, you can change the audit trace settings using the $IML_INSTALL_DIR/alnsamp/aln-sysconfig.sh script. For more information, see Updating audit trace settings for the ML for IBM z/OS services.

Procedure

  1. Stop all the MLz services and processes. For more information, see Stopping and starting services running on ML for IBM z/OS.
  2. Run the following command to restart the MLzUI service from the $IML_INSTALL_ENT_DIR/iml-portal:
    ./MLzServer.sh start
  3. Sign in to the ML for IBM z/OS administration dashboard as the built-in administrator.
    Note:

    The default administrator is created during the initial installation and configuration of MLz.

  4. Select the System Configuration page in the sidebar.
  5. In the Audit trace section, select Yes to enable audit trace. Then, check to turn on or turn off audit trace for any of these three types of resources: model data, model version, and model deployment.
  6. Enable audit trace for model data, model version, and model deployment resources.
  7. In the Repository service section, type the Db2 password.
  8. Click Deploy to save the system configuration.
  9. On the notification page, click Next.
    This action automatically restarts the MLz core services. To restart all other MLz services, refer to Stopping and starting services running on ML for IBM z/OS.
