Downloading Universal Messaging Container Images from the IBM Entitled Registry

About this task

Before you pull a Universal Messaging container image from the IBM entitled registry, make sure that you have an entitlement to use the software. If you do not have the proper entitlement, you cannot pull a container image.

Procedure

  1. Go to https://myibm.ibm.com/dashboard/.
  2. Scroll down to Container Software & Entitlement Keys and click View Library.
  3. On the Entitlement keys page, click Add new key, then copy the key.
  4. Open a command prompt and log in to the IBM entitled registry: 
    docker login cp.icr.io/cp -u cp -p generated_entitlement_key
  5. Pull the Universal Messaging container image: 
    docker pull cp.icr.io/cp/webmethods/universalmessaging/universalmessaging-server:11.1
-u cp -p generated_entitlement_key

    The 11.1 image tag always points to the latest Universal Messaging fix release, but you can replace it with a specific version, for example, 11.1.1.
