Viewing Problem Details

The Problem Detail page displays detailed information about a selected problem event. The Problem Detail page consists of the Problem Information panel , the Contributing Events table, the Similar Problems table, and the KPI Instance Summary graph.

The following table describes the alternative ways to view the problem details.
To view problem details from Do this
Problems page In the Problems table, do either of the following:
  • Click the problem event Description.
  • Click KPI Detail icon View Detail in the Detail column.
E-mail alert Click the Problem Detail hyperlink in the e-mail message.
KPI Instance Detail page Click a red dot on the KPI instance detail graph.
The Problem Information panel contains general information about the problem.
Problem Event Detail
The following table provides more information about the configurable fields on the Problem Information panel.
Field Description
Description Name of the rule instance associated with the problem event.
Related To Name of the system component or business process to which the problem event is related.
Severity Severity of the problem.
Date/Time Time when the problem event occurred.
Duration Time elapsed since this event first occurred.
Status Status of the rule instance.
(various icons) Icons that appeared on the Problems page.
