How do you login if an external IDP to login to IBM webMethods iPaaS tenant is not working?

Check that your Identity Provider settings are configured correctly, and that the necessary attributes and mappings are accurately set up for authentication. For more information, see the section on Configure Identity Providers.

Alternatively, the tenant administrator can add a user to IBM webMethods iPaaS. They can log in to the tenant, access the Users tab on the Administration page, and add a user.

Why you are unable to view the subscribed products after a successful login to IBM webMethods iPaaS tenant?

If you are unable to view the subscribed products despite logging in successfully, contact your tenant administrator. They can verify your user roles and assign the appropriate product roles if necessary. Some products require specific roles for access. Therefore, check that your user roles include permissions to view the subscribed products.

How to add a user in IBM webMethods iPaaS?

You can add users in IBM webMethods iPaaS only if you have the Cloud Tenant Administrator or Account Administrator role. To add a user, go to the IBM webMethods iPaaS Administration page, and click Add a user. After you save the user details, the new user will receive an email to update the login password.
Note: If you create a user, for example U1 in IBM webMethods iPaaS who is also subscribed to webMethods Integration. The first time U1 logs in to the webMethods Integration tenant, user U1 is created in webMethods Integration. For more information, see the Add Users section in the User Management topic in webMethods Integration.

How do you delete a user in IBM webMethods iPaaS?

You can add users in IBM webMethods iPaaS only if you have the Cloud Tenant Administrator or Account Administrator role. To delete a user, go to the IBM webMethods iPaaS Administration page, select the user, and click Delete.
Note:
  • Deleting users from IBM webMethods iPaaS does not delete the users from other IBM® webMethods products. For example, if user U1 is deleted from IBM webMethods iPaaS but exists in webMethods Integration, the user cannot log in to the IBM webMethods Integration tenant. If user U1 is deleted from webMethods Integration, but still exists in IBM webMethods iPaaS. U1 is re-created in webMethods Integration upon logging in again.
  • To delete the IBM webMethods iPaaS user, delete from each product they have permission to access.
