Selecting or adding projects
Manage your workflows by selecting an existing project or creating a new one in webMethods Integration’s project dashboard.
Workflow start and stop points
When you create a new workflow, the webMethods Integration canvas displays Start and Stop icons that define the workflow’s entry and exit points.
Core components of a workflow
A workflow is made up of two elements. a trigger and one or more actions. A trigger fires off a workflow, and actions are the tasks that the workflow runs automatically.
Creating a blank workflow
You can create a new workflow from scratch using the workflow canvas in webMethods Integration.
Creating workflows by using the Integration Agent
The self-service, goal-oriented agentic integration authoring feature enables business users to create integrations by describing their goals in natural language. The Integration Agent interprets the intent, generates a plan, and automatically builds and deploys the workflow.
Example - Setting up triggers
You can configure a trigger by selecting an application, such as Twitter, to initiate workflow execution when specific events occur.

You can configure an action to perform specific tasks automatically based on the trigger event.
