Deleting vault items

You can delete vault items to securely remove sensitive data and ensure projects are no longer linked to outdated or unused vault entries.

1. Go to Settings > Vault to view the list of existing vault items.
2. Locate the vault item that you want to delete and click the delete icon.
   If the vault item is still linked to a project, you are prompted to unlink the project before proceeding with deletion.
3. Select the project and click Unlink selected to unlink the vault item from the project.
4. In the confirmation prompt that opens, click Yes to permanently delete the vault item.
5. Optional: You can unlink the vault item from the Variable page by clicking the delete icon next to the vault item. However, this action will only unlink the item from the project. To completely remove the vault item, delete it from the Vault page.
