Exporting flow services

Export flow services in webMethods Integration to move flow services and their components between environments or tenants for reuse or deployment.

Before you begin

You can export flow services only if you have the required capability for exporting flow services.

Procedure

  1. Click Projects. Select a project and then click Flow services.
    The Flow services page appears.
  2. Click the More options icon available on the flow service and select Export.

    The Confirm Export dialog box appears.

  3. Click Export.

Results

The flow service is downloaded as a compressed file to your default download folder. The file has the same name as that of the flow service. Do not modify the contents of the exported file. If you modify the contents of that file, the flow service cannot be imported back into webMethods Integration.
Note:
  • If a flow service you are exporting uses Document Types, SOAP, or REST Connectors, those components are also exported along with the flow service.
  • If the flow service you export includes Reference Data, the Reference Data is excluded from the export.
  • If a flow service uses an on-premises connector, upload the same connector to webMethods Integration before importing, or the import will fail.
