Roles and access permissions
Learn about roles and how they work.
A role is a set of permissions. When you assign a role to any user, the role's permissions are assigned to that user. To view and create roles, click Profile and select User Management. You can view the list of existing roles and create new roles for your tenant. Only the tenant owner and admin have access to this screen.
webMethods Integration provides two default roles:
- Admin: With this role, you can manage users, roles, and projects in the tenant. The owner of the tenant is assigned this role by default.
- Developer: With this role, you can manage all projects of your tenant.
The following table outlines how the service-specific roles and subscription-specific roles correspond to the capability-specific roles within webMethods Integration.
