Importing projects from a project archive

You can import a project archive (.zip) into webMethods Integration.

Before you begin

  • Ensure that you have a project archive (.zip) exported from webMethods Integration.
  • Ensure that you have the required permissions to create or update projects.

About this task

You can import a project archive from the Projects page or from the Deployments tab of an existing project.

Procedure

  1. Go to the Projects dashboard.
  2. Do one of the following:
    1. Click New project > Import.
    2. Open an existing project and click the Deployments tab > Upload deployment. For more information, see Working with deployments.
  3. Click the Import from ZIP file tab.
  4. Upload the project archive (zip) by dragging the file into the upload area or by selecting the file from your system.
  5. Click Import.
    The Deployment wizard appears.
  6. Complete the deployment process as described in Deploying projects.

Results

  • If the project does not exist, a new project is created and the assets from the archive are imported.
  • If the project already exists, the archive is imported as a new deployment version of the project.
