You can build connected applications by using the API reference, and REST and SOAP APIs, to trigger workflows and flow services.

Creating REST APIs
In webMethods Integration, you can trigger project workflows or flow services through API endpoints by using the REST APIs. You can build custom APIs or export existing ones, link them to your project workflows or flow services, and make API requests to run those workflows or services remotely. The Rest API builder feature works at the project level.
Running workflows through API calls
Use an external service to trigger workflows with the REST API calls by configuring HTTP methods, endpoints, authentication, headers, and request bodies.
Managing REST APIs
Edit and copy an existing REST API to another project, and delete existing APIs using the APIs tab.
Creating SOAP APIs
Integrate different types of connectors in webMethods Integration by using SOAP APIs. The SOAP API contains the message formats, data types, transport protocols, and transport serialization formats that are used between the consumer (requester) and the provider of the web service. In essence, the SOAP API represents an agreement that governs the mechanics of interacting with that service.

You can view all the SOAP APIs that you created on the SOAP API details page. Use the actions to edit, delete, and copy a SOAP API.
